Friends, we are doing it again! Another BYOB dinner at a Miami restaurant —this time, we’re doing tacos!
These dinners create a way for wine-loving folks to get together, share some of their favorite bottles, enjoy great food, and make new friends in a relaxing and inviting atmosphere. My idea for these has always been a no-judgement approach to sharing wines. Because, at the end of the day, wine is a lifestyle anyone can be a part of. Whether you are new to the industry, or an experienced pro, we all have something to learn from each other.
Tacomakase by Chef Scott Linquist and hosted by yours truly will take place on Saturday, April 6th from 7 PM-9 PM at Coyo Taco in Coral Gables. Guests are encouraged to bring a bottle of wine, and Chef Scott will prepare a multi-course taco menu along with Coyo’s signature guacamole and chips. We’ll wrap up dinner with a tequila toast, and then there will be a special DJ for dancing in Coyo’s exclusive speakeasy. Additionally, happy hour pricing on drinks at the bar will be applied all night after dinner.
So, what do you say? If you say tacos and wine don’t pair well together, I challenge you to attend this dinner and look at it differently. After all, wine is about exploration and connection, and that is what this dinner guarantees.
Some of the logistics:
Tickets are $40 for the food, reserved in advance through Eventbrite. The registration link is HERE.
Guests are encouraged to bring a bottle of wine to share with the group.
We will limit tickets to create a more intimate atmosphere, so don’t delay registering!
Bring your dancing shoes, because the party doesn’t stop after dinner!
